Rules as per the National GT3 Championship

Rationale: To race “out of the box” cars with specified modifications using mainly NSR, Scaleauto and specified third party components.

Rules: NSR
Parts marked * are standard in most cases.
- Body
- Must retain original interior.
- Rear wing must be firmly affixed at the start of every race.
- White kits must be fully painted.
- Clear coats may be used in addition to paint, but not as a replacement for paint.
- Chassis
- Must be the NSR black plastic chassis that matches the body.
- Magnet(s) must be removed.
- Ballast may be added, but must be firmly fixed.
- Taping, strengthening and/or laminating is not allowed.
- If a drop arm was fitted originally it must be retained. It may be adjusted or fixed using the screw supplied.
- Guide
- Must be NSR part number 4841*, 4842*, 4843, 4844, 4845 or 4859.
- Spacers may be used to set guide depth.
- Motor pod
- Must be as fitted to original purchase.
- A small amount of material may be removed from the motor cradle to help avoid stress fractures when installing a motor.
- Motor – Must be one of the following:
- NSR 3023* – King 21 with purple wrapper, 21400 rpm, 350 g-cm.
- NSR 3017 – King 21 with orange wrapper, 21400 rpm, 322 g-cm.
- Scaleauto SC-0026b – Endurance, 22000rpm, 310 g-cm.
- Gears
- Pinion – must be:
- NSR 7112, 7113*, or 7114 (7.5mm 12–14T brass).
- Anglewinder spur – must be
- NSR 6528, 6529, 6530, 6531*, 6532, 6533 or 6534 (16.8mm 28–34T aluminium).
- Pinion – must be:
- Axles – Must be:
- NSR 4801 (49mm solid steel) or 4802 (52mm solid steel).
- Bearings
- Must be standard fit as supplied with model.
- Wheels
- Front – must be
- NSR 5001 (Ø16 x 8mm solid hub) or
- NSR 5003* (Ø17 x 8mm solid hub)
- and must turn when car is placed on a set-up block and pushed down and forward.
- Rear – must be either of:
- NSR 5003 (Ø17 x 8mm solid hub).
- NSR 5004* (Ø17 x 10mm air hub)
- Tyres
- Front
- Must be black rubber. May be varnished and/or glazed.
- Rear
- Must be NSR black rubber.
- The NSR logo should be visible on both tyres. If logo has become worn or indistinct the scrutineer will adjudicate.
- Front
- Wheel inserts
- May be fitted.
- General
- Overall width across rear wheels and tyres must not exceed 64mm.
- Wheels must not be visible from above when either axle is moved to its extreme left or right positions.
- All other components are free choice – e.g. braids, wires, screws, spacers, stoppers, glues and lubricants.
If it is not listed above it is not allowed.
Rules: Scaleauto
- Body

- Must be Scaleauto anglewinder configuration (or inline option for Mercedes only) as fitted to RTR series models.
- Any offset allowed.
- Lateral arms must not be fitted.
- A small amount of material may be removed from the motor cradle to help avoid stress fractures when installing a motor.
- Motor – Must be one of the following:
- Scaleauto SC-0011b – long can Tech-1, 20000 rpm, 286 g-cm.
- Scaleauto SC-0025 – Sprinter, 21500 rpm, 300 g-cm.
- Scaleauto SC-0025b – Sprinter 2, 21500 rpm, 320 g-cm.
- Scaleauto SC-0026b – Endurance, 22000rpm, 310 g-cm.
- Gears – anglewinder configurations
- Pinion
- must be Scaleauto or Slot.it 11, 12, 13 or 14T.
- Spur
- must be Scaleauto or Slot.it with free choice of tooth number.
- Pinion
- Gears – inline configuration for Mercedes only
- Pinion
- must be Scaleauto or Slot.it 8, 9 or 10T,
- Crown
- must be Scaleauto with free choice of tooth number.

- Must be standard Scaleauto as supplied with model.

- Slot.it W16508215A (ex PA43-Als) 16.5 x 8mm aluminium, and
- Must turn when car is placed on a set-up block and pushed down and forward.
- Rear – must be one of the following:
- Scaleauto 17.3mm plastic/aluminium as supplied with model.
- MB Slot 19019

- NB: NSR wheels will require reaming to 2.38mm.
