Better late than never, the race report has landed for June’s Club Cars round. Unusually for Club Cars it was a fairly uneventful race. No cars were wrecked, nobody got frustrated, track calls were few and far between and everyone went home smiling.

Julian took an early lead from Simon, David and Lee, and that’s how it stayed until the final heat, where Simon had a terrible drive in the yellow car to fall to fourth and Lee raced his best heat to climb to second.

The closest racing of the evening was lower down the field between Neil, Mario, Dexter and Mark, the quartet enjoying a race-long battle with positions changing in every heat, often several times. Mario had his best race yet, finishing second in three of his heats and third in another to take tenth overall. All in all it was another great Club Cars round.
