Ten eager racers arrived ready for battle, just nine finished, Josh retiring early after a shambolic first heat.

Perhaps this was just one of those nights when nothing goes right. Neil’s mechanic got stressed, Neil got stressed, Josh got stressed, nobody had shown Stephen how to use the track call button so everybody got stressed. I blame it on the torrential rain. Or the election. Or Santa’s little helpers…

Whatever, Julian dominated at a canter. Class always shines through.
